Throughout the year the Parents Committee organizes workshops and seminars to promote parental involvement in their children's education as well as ways to improve their parenting skills.
The Afterschool Enrichment Program provides students from Theodore Roosevelt Elementary, James H. Vernon Middle School, and the Oyster Bay High School with supervised activities including homework help, non-competitive games, sports, cultural & civic enrichment activities, health, character and life skills education.
The Afterschool Enrichment Program welcomes all ENL / ESL students from the OB-EN School District from grades K to 8th. One of the goals of the program is to ensure that children from low-income families where English is not the first language do not fall behind academically.
