***Starting September 2015 the Hispanic Cultural Center will expand the Afterschool Enrichment Program to grades 7 & 8th in the Oyster Bay High School.***

The program operates during the after school hours of: 3 PM to 5:30 PM at The Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School and 2:25 PM to 3:30 PM at The Oyster Bay High School.
Throughout the year a Parents Committee organizes workshops and seminars to promote parental involvement in their children's education as well as ways to improve their parenting skills.
The Afterschool Enrichment Program provides students from Theodore Roosevelt Elemantary, James H. Vernon Middle School, and the Oyster Bay High School with supervised activities including homework help, non-competitive games, sports, cultural & civic enrichment activities, health, character and life skills education.
The Afterschool Enrichment Program welcomes all students from the OBEN School District from grades K to 8th. One of the goals of the program is to ensure that children from low income families where English is not the first language do not fall behind academically.
